About Me
My name is Nick Drury-Gorham and I am a qualified counsellor and Supervisor .I have recently moved to Gloucestershire and set up my counselling practice in Abbeymead Gloucester.
I have over 35 years experience in experience in working in the area of social law issues within a fast changing organisational environment.
I also worked as a counsellor for a numer of years for the charity 'Mankind UK' based in Newhaven East Sussex wich deals with sexual abuse issues.
I also worked as a counsellor for 'Age Concern' In Brighton for a numer of years.
I also provide telephone counselling for a leading insurance company.
I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Brighton.
An advanced Certificate in Counselling Skills.
I am an individual member of the BACP, (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
A member of the ASCW,(Association for Counselling at Work), A specialist Division of BACP.
A member of 'The British Association for the Person-Centred Approach'.
I am on the Register of Trauma Specialists (RTA)
I am also qualified to provide Critical Incident Debriefing to individuals or groups who have experienced trauma.
I have been a member of 'Sussex Counselling' for a numer of years and elected onto their committee.
Certificate in Person Centered Supervision.
As a commitment to my continuing professional development, I have attended a number of seminars,workshops and talks on a wide variety of associated counselling topics.
For the safety and security of my clients I also hold an enhanced disclosure (certificate) from the CRB, (Criminal Records Bureau).
I also hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Studies.
